Online Training Refund & Cancellation Policy
At National Inspection Academy, we are committed to providing high-quality online NDT and industrial training programs. Because digital course access is granted immediately upon enrollment, the following refund policy applies to all online training purchases.
Online Course Refund Eligibility
Refund requests for online training courses must be submitted within 48 hours of purchase and prior to substantial course completion. Similar refund windows are commonly used across the online NDT training industry.
To be eligible for a refund:
- The request must be emailed within 48 hours of enrollment.
- Contact Brent at moulton@nationalinspection.org
- The student must not have completed more than:
- 10% of the course content, or
- Any final examination, graded assessment, or certificate issuance process.
- Refunds are limited to the original purchaser only.
Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable:
- Courses where a certificate of completion has already been issued
- Downloadable training materials, manuals, or digital resources once accessed
- Textbooks, shipped materials, or third-party licensing fees
- Bundled training packages once access has been granted

Technical Issues
If a student experiences technical issues preventing access to the course, NIA will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue before considering a refund request.
Course Cancellations by NIA
If National Inspection Academy cancels or removes a course before completion:
- Students will receive a full refund
Chargebacks
Students agree to contact NIA directly to attempt resolution before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with their financial institution.
